What is scleroderma?

Scleroderma, or systemic sclerosis, is a chronic connective tissue disease generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases. A good explanation of the disease, its symptoms and management is available from the Scleroderma Association of Queensland as a PDF download.
